Michigan Energy Choice Education ProgramTo keep you informed of your changing energy choices, the state has also set up an education program to help customers understand the options they have. This statewide Michigan Energy Choice Education program will begin in the next few months. A web site and toll-free phone number will provide customers with easy access to information on the Choice program. An advertising campaign will also begin in 2002. Starting in January, customers will see an 18-cent fixed charge (Michigan Customer Education Charge) on their bill to help fund these statewide customer choice educational efforts.
