UW-Marinette Grant for Returning Adults
Purpose
To recognize returning adult students who show academic promise and are planning
to earn a bachelor's degree.
Qualifications
To qualify for this award, applicants must:
- Be 22 years of age or older when returning to college
- Be entering as a freshman or sophomore at the University of Wisconsin - Marinette
- Reside in the Wisconsin Public Service's territory
- Demonstrate financial need
- Demonstrate academic promise
Students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Community involvement
is desirable, although not required, and will support your overall application.
Awards
These awards are $250 per semester for part-time students and
$500 per semester for full-time students, to a maximum of $2,000
per recipient, providing the student
continues to meet the eligibility criteria.
Selection
The grant subcommittee of the UW-Marinette will grant the Awards.

Notification
Initial recipients will be notified by mail and must be enrolled at UW-Marinette
for the fall semester to receive their grants.
