Qualifications To qualify for this award, applicants must: Be 22 years of age or older when returning to college Be entering as a freshman or sophomore at the University of Wisconsin - Marinette Reside in the Wisconsin Public Service's territory Demonstrate financial need Demonstrate academic promise Students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Community involvement is desirable, although not required, and will support your overall application. Awards These awards are $250 per semester for part-time students and $500 per semester for full-time students, to a maximum of $2,000 per recipient, providing the student continues to meet the eligibility criteria. Selection The grant subcommittee of the UW-Marinette will grant the Awards. How to Apply Submit an application for admission to UW-Marinette. Complete a WPS Resources Foundation, Inc. Grant Application. Request two letters of recommendation from employer(s) and/or educator(s). Deadline Submit the application no later than March 1, 2008 to: Office of Student Services Scholarship Subcommittee University of Wisconsin-Marinette 750 West Bay Shore Street Marinette, WI 54143 Notification Initial recipients will be notified by mail and must be enrolled at UW-Marinette for the fall semester to receive their grants.
