Scholarships
A variety of college and technical school scholarships are available
to students in our service area who are:
2006 Scholarship Recipients
In 2006, our foundation awarded a record number of new scholarships, with 206
scholarship recipients receiving more than $114,000. The foundation has given more than
$3.3 million in scholarships to students from northeastern and central Wisconsin and
Michigan's Upper Peninsula since 1964.
About the Foundation
Established in 1964, our foundation is a private, charitable foundation that supports
the philanthropic efforts of our company, our employees, and their volunteer efforts. It
supports organizations involved in:
- Health and human services
- Education
- Civic improvements
- Cultural and artistic endeavors
The foundation is entirely funded through contributions from the company. No customer
money is used to support the foundation or its programs. Through direct grants,
scholarships and an employee matching grants program, the foundation actively supports
improvements in the quality of life in the communities we serve.
Note: Scholarships and grants are not given to children of officers or directors of the
foundation.
